How do I sync my Vive account with the Vive XR Elite?

Syncing your Vive account with the Vive XR Elite allows you to access your content, retrieve your settings, and use services related to the HTC ecosystem. This step is usually completed during the initial setup, but can also be performed or modified at any time from the headset settings.

1. Prepare the headset and your connection

Before you begin, make sure the Vive XR Elite is turned on and connected to a Wi-Fi network. This connection is required to access your account and sync data.

2. Access the Vive account login

From the headset interface, open Settings to access account management.

  1. Open the headset’s Settings.
  2. Go to the Account or User section.
  3. Select Sign In.

3. Sign in to your Vive account

  1. Enter your Vive account (HTC) credentials.
  2. Or select Create an account if you don’t have one yet.
  3. Confirm the requested information.
  4. Confirm the login if verification is required.

Once logged in, the headset automatically links your profile to the device.

4. Verify account synchronization

After logging in, certain data is automatically synchronized with the headset.

  • Access to your app library.
  • Retrieval of your user settings.
  • Access to online services and the Viveport Store.

Verify that your account appears in the settings to confirm synchronization.
