How to cast your screen with the Meta Quest 3S?

Screencasting lets you stream what you see in your headset live to another device like a smartphone, TV, or computer. This feature is useful to share a real-time VR session with others.

1. Make sure you’re connected to the same Wi-Fi network

To enable screencasting, both the headset and receiving device must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

This ensures a smooth and uninterrupted connection.

2. Open the casting menu in the headset

From the Meta Quest 3S:

  1. Press the Oculus button to open the universal menu.
  2. Select the Share” or Camera” icon.
  3. Choose Cast” or Screen casting”.

A list of compatible devices will appear.

3. Select the target device

You can cast to:

  • A smartphone using the Meta Quest app (iOS or Android).
  • A TV or compatible Chromecast.
  • A web browser via https://www.meta.com/casting (if enabled on your account).

Tap your chosen device and confirm the connection.

4. Control the stream

A casting icon appears to indicate the stream is active. You can stop casting anytime from the same Share > Cast menu.

Audio may also be streamed, depending on the receiving device.

To cast your screen with the Meta Quest 3S, open Share > Cast, select the target device on the same Wi-Fi network, and confirm. It’s the perfect solution to show your VR experience in real time to friends or coworkers.
