How to take a screenshot with Vive Focus Vision?

The Vive Focus Vision allows you to take screenshots to save and share images of your VR experience.

1. Methods to take a screenshot

• Using controller buttons: Press the Vive and Trigger buttons on the right controller simultaneously.
• Using headset buttons: Press and hold the Headset and Volume – buttons simultaneously.
• Using a timer via the Vive Menu: Press the Vive button on the right controller. In the panel that opens, select the Screenshot icon. The capture will be taken after a 3-second delay.

2. Transfer your screenshots and videos to a computer

You can transfer your screenshots and videos from the headset to a Windows® PC with these steps:

1. Connect your headset to the PC via a USB-C cable.
2. Put on your headset and select File transfer when prompted.
3. Remove the headset once transfer mode is activated.
4. On your PC, open a file manager (e.g., File Explorer).
5. Click on the headset name and navigate to Internal shared storage.
6. Files are located in:
   • Pictures > Screenshots for screenshots.
   • Movies > Screenrecorder for recorded videos.
7. Select and copy the files to a folder on your computer.
8. Once finished, disconnect the headset from your PC.

For Mac:

• Use the Android File Transfer tool to access headset files.
• You’ll find your captures in Pictures > Screenshots and videos in Movies > Screenrecorder.
