How to install APK files on Vive Focus Vision headset?

The Vive Focus Vision lets you install Android and VR apps using APK files. However, some apps may not be compatible with the headset or may not work correctly.

1. Transfer the APK file to the headset

You can transfer an APK file to the headset using one of the following methods:

  • Using a memory card: Copy the APK file to a microSD card and insert it into the headset’s microSD slot.
  • Using external USB storage: Copy the APK to a USB drive or external hard drive, then plug it into the USB port on the right side of the headset.
  • Internal storage via PC: Connect the headset to a PC using a USB Type-C cable. On the headset, select File Transfer when the dialog box appears. On the PC, open File Explorer, navigate to Vive Focus Vision > Internal shared storage, and copy the APK file to the Downloads folder.

2. Install the APK from the headset

  1. Go to settings: Open Settings > Advanced and enable Allow unknown apps.
  2. Launch the installation: Go to Storage > File Browser. Open the folder containing the APK (SD card, USB drive, or Downloads), select the file, and begin the installation.
  3. Find the app: Once installed, the app will appear in the headset’s Library. Use the filter to find it quickly.
To install an APK file on the Vive Focus Vision, transfer it via SD card, USB storage, or PC, then enable unknown apps in settings and launch the installation from the File Browser. The app will then appear in the library.
