How to adjust the Meta Quest 3S headset

A proper fit of the Meta Quest 3S is essential to ensure comfort, stability, and image quality. Here’s how to adapt the headset to your needs.

1. Position the headset correctly on your head

Start by placing the headset on your face, aligning the lenses with your eyes. The facial interface should rest evenly on your forehead and cheeks without pressure points.

Slightly tilt the headset up or down until the center of the screen appears sharp and clear, with no blur or distortion at the edges.

2. Adjust the top strap

Then adjust the upper strap located above the head:

• Pull the velcro straps to lengthen or shorten the top band.
• The strap should hold the headset firmly without pressing on the top of your head.
• This adjustment is key to prevent the headset from sliding forward.

3. Adjust the rear strap or rigid headband

The Meta Quest 3S comes with a rear support system (soft strap or rigid band depending on the model or accessories):

• Turn the dial (if present) or adjust the side straps to tighten or loosen the back of the headset.
• Ensure the rear section rests comfortably at the base of your skull.

A secure rear fit helps distribute the weight and relieve pressure from the front of your face.

4. Adjust the interpupillary distance (IPD)
