Can Vive Focus Vision be charged while in use?

It’s not recommended to use the Vive Focus Vision while it is charging. For safety reasons and to preserve battery lifespan, it is best to let the headset charge without being used.

If you want to extend your VR sessions without interruption, the Vive Focus Vision includes a built-in backup battery. This feature allows you to replace the main battery with a spare one without shutting down the headset, providing up to 20 minutes of runtime during the swap.

Additionally, when using the Vive wired streaming kit with the Vive Focus Vision, the headset can be powered directly, allowing extended sessions without relying on the internal battery. However, note that this kit does not recharge the headset battery.
