What do the different LED lights on Vive Focus Vision mean?

The LED indicators on the Vive Focus Vision give clear information about the status of the headset, battery, and controllers. Here’s a detailed breakdown:

1. Headset LED indicator:

  • Solid white: The headset display is on.
  • Blinking white: The headset is starting up, shutting down, pairing with Vive Manager, or updating the system software.
  • Pulsing white: The headset display is off or in standby mode.
  • Pulsing red: Passthrough mode is active.
  • Solid green: The headset’s USB Type-C port is connected to an external power source and the display is on.
  • Pulsing green: Connected to power, but the display is off or in standby mode.
  • Off: The headset is powered off.

2. Battery LED indicator:

  • While charging: LEDs show the current battery level continuously.
  • During use: Press the power button to display the battery level when the headset is in standby.

3. Controller LED indicators:

  • Blinking red: Battery level is below 15%.
  • Solid orange: Controller is charging.
  • Blinking blue: Controller is in pairing mode.
  • Solid blue: Controller is connecting to the headset.
  • Alternating blue and orange: Connecting to headset while charging.
  • Solid green: Controller is connected to the headset.
  • Alternating blue and red: Controller firmware is updating.
  • Off: Controller is inactive.
