How to disable data sharing on the Pico 4 Ultra Enterprise?

The Pico 4 Ultra Enterprise may transmit usage and performance data to Pico servers to optimize the user experience. However, it is possible to limit or disable this sharing to enhance data privacy.

1. Disable data collection from the headset

  1. Access the headset settings: Turn on the Pico 4 Ultra Enterprise, then open the Control Center by pressing the Home button on one of the controllers. Select the Settings icon.
  2. Navigate to the “About” menu and disable “Help Pico improve its products and services“.

2. Manage app permissions

Some third-party applications may also collect data. To control these accesses:

  1. Access app settings: In Settings, select App Management.
  2. Modify app permissions: Click on an application to view its granted permissions (camera access, microphone, storage, etc.). Then, disable any unnecessary permissions.

This helps limit data collection by installed applications on the headset.

3. Delete data stored by Pico

If you want to delete data stored on Pico servers:

  1. Log in to your Pico account via a web browser.
  2. Go to the “Personal Data Management” section.
  3. Request data deletion or account closure.

This action is permanent and will result in the loss of all data associated with your account.

It is possible to disable data sharing with Pico by adjusting the privacy settings on the Pico 4 Ultra Enterprise. By modifying app permissions and deleting stored data, you can strengthen the protection of your personal information.
