How do I adjust the IPD on the Pico Neo 3 Enterprise/Pro (Eye)?

Adjusting the IPD (interpupillary distance) allows you to correctly align the headset lenses with your eyes. A properly adjusted IPD improves image sharpness, visual comfort, and reduces fatigue during prolonged use of the Pico Neo 3.

1. Understanding IPD adjustment on the Pico Neo 3

The Pico Neo 3 has a mechanical IPD adjustment. It allows you to physically adjust the distance between the lenses to suit each user’s morphology.

  • 3 predefined positions: 58 mm, 63.5 mm, and 69 mm.

The IPD can be adjusted manually by moving the lenses inside the headset.

2. How to adjust the IPD correctly

To adjust the interpupillary distance:

  1. Put on the headset and look straight ahead.
  2. Grasp the upper barrels of the lenses with both hands.
  3. Slide the lenses to the left or right until you select one of the 3 positions.
  4. Adjust gradually until you get the sharpest and most stable image possible.
  5. Check that the text and fixed elements are centered in front of each eye.

Proper adjustment prevents peripheral blurring, double vision, and headaches after prolonged use.

3. Check visual comfort

After adjustment:

  • Check that the image remains sharp when you move your head slightly.
  • Make sure you do not experience eye strain or headaches.
  • Adjust again if necessary.

It is recommended that you readjust the IPD each time the user changes.

To adjust the IPD on the Pico Neo 3, manually move the lenses to one of the 3 preset positions. A correctly adjusted IPD ensures a sharp image, better visual comfort, and a more enjoyable VR experience.
