How do I install a software update on the Pico G3(+)?

Installing software updates on the Pico G3 allows you to benefit from the latest performance improvements, new features, and security fixes that are essential for optimal use.

1. Connect the Pico G3 to the Internet

Before checking for an update, turn on the Pico G3 and connect it to a stable Wi-Fi network via Settings > Network > Wi-Fi.

An Internet connection is required to download the update files.

2. Check for an update

To check for an update:

1. Open Settings from the main menu.
2. Go to General.
3. Select System Version.

The system will automatically check if a new version is available.

3. Download and install the update

If an update is found:

1. Click Download to start the download.
2. Once the download is complete, select Install.
3. The headset will automatically restart to apply the update.

During this phase, make sure the Pico G3 is sufficiently charged (at least 50%) or connected to its charger to avoid any interruptions.

4. Automatic update
