How to install a software update on the Pico G3?

Installing software updates on the Pico G3 lets you benefit from the latest performance improvements, new features, and essential security patches for optimal use.

1. Connect the Pico G3 to the Internet

Before checking for updates, turn on the Pico G3. Then, connect it to a stable Wi-Fi network via Settings > Network > Wi-Fi.

An internet connection is required to download update files.

2. Check for an update

To see if a new update is available:

1. Open Settings from the main menu.
2. Go to General or System depending on the software version.
3. Select System Update or Check for updates.

The system will automatically check for available versions.

3. Download and install the update

If an update is available:

1. Click Download to begin.
2. Once complete, choose Install.
3. The headset will automatically restart to apply the update.

Make sure your Pico G3 is at least 50% charged or connected to its charger to prevent interruptions.

4. Automatic updates

If enabled in settings:

• The Pico G3 can automatically download and install updates when connected to Wi-Fi and charging.
• You can toggle this option in the Auto Update tab located at the top right of the update screen.
