How do I change the video recording frame rate on the Pico Neo 3 Enterprise/Pro (Eye)?

The Pico Neo 3 allows you to record videos directly from the headset. The frame rate (frames per second – FPS) determines the smoothness of the recorded video. This setting can be adjusted from the system settings, within the limits of the options offered by Pico.

1. Access the recording settings

  1. Open Settings, then go to General.
  2. Go to the “Screencast, recording, and screenshot” section.
  3. In the “Recording and screenshot” category, select Recording frame rate.
  4. Choose the desired frame rate from the available values:
    • 24 frames per second (FPS).
    • 36 frames per second (FPS).
  5. Confirm your choice.

The setting will automatically apply to future video recordings.

2. Limitations to be aware of

  • The frame rate options depend on the system version and hardware capabilities of the Pico Neo 3.
  • Some applications may impose their own recording settings.
  • It is not possible to set a custom frame rate outside the values offered by the system.

To change the video recording frame rate on the Pico Neo 3, go to Settings > General > Screencast, Recording, and Screenshot and select 24 or 36 FPS. This setting allows you to adjust the smoothness and file size of videos according to your professional or demonstration needs.
