How to pair the controller with the Pico G3?
The Pico G3 comes with a Bluetooth controller that must be paired with the headset to function properly. In most cases, pairing is automatic, but it may need to be redone if the connection is lost or the controller is replaced.
1. Check the battery status
- Make sure the AA battery in the controller is properly installed and sufficiently charged.
- Preferably use a new or fully charged battery to avoid interruptions during pairing.
2. Turn on the headset and access settings
- Turn on the Pico G3.
- Go to the main menu.
- Open Settings > Controller to check the controller’s connection status.
3. Put the controller in pairing mode
If the controller is not automatically recognized:
- Go to Settings > Controllers.
- Select “Pair” and press the confirmation button on the headset.
- Hold the controller and simultaneously press the trigger, touchpad, and home buttons.
- The headset will automatically detect the controller and complete pairing.
4. Restart if necessary
If the controller still doesn’t connect:
- Restart the headset.
- Ensure you are using a new or well-charged battery.
- As a last resort, reset Bluetooth settings via the Pico G3 advanced settings.
Pairing the Pico G3 controller is usually quick and easy. Make sure to use a working battery and follow the specific button combination to start manual pairing if needed.
