How to make a screencast with the Pico Neo 3 Enterprise/Pro (Eye)?

The screencast feature allows you to display the Pico Neo 3 screen in real time on another device, such as a computer or external monitor. This feature is ideal for demonstrations, training, presentations, or assisting a user during a VR session.

1. Prepare the network

  • Make sure that the Pico Neo 3 and the receiving device (PC, tablet, TV screen, etc.) are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Choose a stable network to avoid latency and interruptions.

2. Launch the screencast from the headset

To launch the screencast:

  1. Open the Control Center, located at the bottom right of the home screen.
  2. Select the Screencast option and choose the desired streaming method.
  3. Confirm to start streaming.

The headset screen is then streamed in real time to the selected device.

3. Important points to know

  • The screencast displays exactly what the user sees, with a possible slight delay.
  • The quality depends on the stability of the Wi-Fi network.
  • Some applications may restrict streaming.

Screencast on the Pico Neo 3 launches directly from the Control Center, provided you are connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the receiving device. This feature allows you to easily share a live VR session during demonstrations or professional training sessions.
