How to change the language on the Meta Quest 3S?

Changing the display language on the Meta Quest 3S allows you to adapt the interface to your preferences or those of another user. While this feature isn’t highlighted in the main menus, it remains accessible via the headset settings.

1. Access the system settings

Turn on your Meta Quest 3S, then:

1. From the home screen, open the menu.
2. Select “Settings”.
3. Go to the “General” tab, then ‘Localization’.
4. Tap “Language”. You will then see a drop-down list with all available languages.

2. Choose your preferred language

1. Scroll through the list and select your preferred language (e.g., French, English, Spanish…).
2. Confirm your choice if a validation window appears.

The system may briefly restart to apply the changes.

3. Check the changes

After restarting:

• All menus, settings, and notifications will appear in the newly selected language.
• Some third-party apps may remain in English if they don’t support the selected language.

4. Also change the language in the mobile app (optional)

For a consistent experience, you can also change the language of the Meta Quest app on your smartphone:

1. Go to your phone’s settings.
2. Change the system language of the device (the app follows your phone’s language).
3. Restart the app if needed.
