Why connect the Meta Quest 3S to a Wi-Fi network?

A Wi-Fi connection is essential to fully use the features of the Meta Quest 3S. It allows access to online content, system updates, and integration with the Meta ecosystem. Here are the main reasons to connect to a wireless network.

1. Download and update apps

Internet access is required to:

• Download new apps and games from the Meta Horizon Store.
• Update installed apps to benefit from new features and bug fixes.
• Access additional content (levels, environments, patches, etc.).

Without Wi-Fi, apps can’t be updated automatically.

2. Install system updates

The Meta Quest 3S operating system is updated regularly:

• Updates bring new features, performance improvements, and security patches.
• They are downloaded automatically when connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.

Without Wi-Fi, these updates can’t be installed, which limits access to the latest improvements.
