How do I disable data sharing on the Pico Neo 3 Enterprise/Pro (Eye)?

The Pico Neo 3 offers privacy settings that allow you to limit or disable the sharing of certain data with Pico. This configuration is particularly important in professional environments in order to comply with internal security and data protection policies.

1. Disable system data sharing

  1. Open Settings and go to “General.”
  2. Disable the “Share PICO analytics” option.

Disabling this option reduces the transmission of analytical data to the Pico system.

2. Check app permissions

Data sharing can also come from installed apps:

  1. Open Settings and go to “General.”
  2. Go to Manage Apps and select the app in question.
  3. Check and limit the permissions granted where possible.

Each application applies its own data collection policy, independent of the Pico system.

3. Use without connection or in a controlled environment

  • Limit the Wi-Fi connection to the necessary phases (updates, deployment).
  • Use the headset on a controlled network or offline when possible.
  • Avoid services that require cloud synchronization.

It is possible to disable or limit data sharing on the Pico Neo 3 Enterprise/Pro (Eye) via privacy settings and application permission controls. In a professional environment, these settings allow for greater control over data while retaining the headset’s essential features.
