How to adjust the Vive Focus Vision headset?
A proper adjustment of the Vive Focus Vision is essential to ensure optimal comfort and maximum visual clarity. Follow these steps to position your headset correctly.
1. Loosen the straps to prepare for adjustment
- Detach the velcro strap on the top headband.
- Press and hold the quick-release button located at the back of the headset.
- Gently pull the rear band until it is fully extended.
Warning: If you feel resistance, turn the adjustment dial counterclockwise to loosen the strap.
2. Adjust the headset on your head
- Position the headset so the lenses are properly aligned with your eyes.
- While holding the quick-release button, slide the rear band until it fits snugly at the back of your head.
- Turn the adjustment dial to fine-tune the fit and ensure a firm hold without excessive pressure.
3. Adjust the top strap
- Tighten or loosen the top strap to balance the headset’s weight on your head.
- Secure the velcro closure once the strap is in place.
4. Remove the headset
- When removing the headset, press the quick-release button at the back to instantly release the strap and remove the headset easily.
Tips for optimal adjustment
- Do not overtighten the headset: it should be snug without causing discomfort.
- If the image is blurry, readjust the headset or check the interpupillary distance (IPD) in the settings.
- If the headset feels unbalanced, adjust the top strap to better distribute its weight.
