How to change video recording settings on the Pico G3?

The Pico G3 lets you record videos of your VR sessions directly from the headset. Adjusting the recording framerate allows you to optimize video smoothness and storage space based on your needs.

1. Access video recording settings

To change recording settings:

1. Turn on your Pico G3 and go to the main menu.
2. Open Settings.
3. Go to General.
4. Select Screencast, recording and screenshots.

2. Adjust framerate and recording options

Inside the Recording and Screenshot section:

1. Scroll down to the recording options.
2. You can change the framerate by selecting between 26 FPS and 36 FPS.
3. You can also modify other settings such as:
   • The image format used for recording.
   • Enabling or disabling the microphone during recording.
   • Image stabilization for smoother videos.
