How to enable Developer Mode on the Pico G3?

Developer Mode on the Pico G3 is essential to access advanced features such as APK installation, USB debugging, or development tools. Here’s how to activate it step by step.

1. Go to headset settings

To activate Developer Mode:

  1. Turn on your Pico G3.
  2. From the main menu, open Settings.

2. Unlock Developer Options

  1. In Settings, go to the About Device section.
  2. Locate the Software Version option.
  3. Tap the version number 7 times quickly.
  4. Developer Options are now activated.

If a screen lock code is set, you may need to enter it to confirm activation.

3. Access Developer Options

Once Developer Mode is enabled:

  • Return to Settings, a new section called Developer Options will appear.
  • You can now enable USB debugging, force GPU rendering, or allow apps from unknown sources.

4. Disable Developer Options

If needed, you can disable Developer Mode by repeating the same operation in the About Device section.
