How to reset your Pico Neo 3 Enterprise/Pro (Eye) to factory settings?

Resetting to factory settings restores the Pico Neo 3 to its original state, as when it was first used. This is useful in the event of persistent problems, before resale, change of user, or as part of corporate fleet management.

Warning: Resetting will delete all data, applications, and settings stored on the headset.

1. Reset the headset from the settings

This is the recommended method when the headset is functioning normally.

  1. Open Settings and go to General.
  2. Go to the Reset section and start the procedure.
  3. Confirm the operation when the warning message appears.

The headset will automatically restart and begin the initial setup.

2. Reset the headset if it does not start up correctly

If the headset is frozen or inaccessible:

  1. Turn off the Pico Neo 3 completely.
  2. Simultaneously hold down the power button, the volume down button, and the Pico button for a few seconds.
  3. A recovery menu will appear. Select “Recovery mode” using the volume buttons.
  4. An Android logo with the message “No command” should appear. Press the power button and the volume + button simultaneously to access the menu.
  5. Select Wipe data/factory reset using the volume buttons.
  6. Select the option, then confirm.

The headset will erase the data and restart automatically.

3. After the reset

  • The headset will restart as if it were being used for the first time.
  • You will need to redo the initial setup (language, Wi-Fi, account, play area).
  • Applications will need to be reinstalled if necessary.

The Pico Neo 3 can be reset to factory settings from the settings or via the recovery menu if the headset is no longer responding. This operation allows you to start with a clean configuration, but results in the complete deletion of data, making it particularly suitable for professional use, maintenance, or user changes.
