How to install software updates on Vive Focus Vision?

Keeping your Vive Focus Vision up to date gives you access to the latest features and improvements. The headset regularly checks for updates and notifies you when one is available. If you don’t want to install it immediately, you can launch the update manually from Settings.

1. Install an update manually

1. Go to Settings: If an app is running, press the Vive button on the right controller and select Return to Entry. From the home screen, go to Settings.
2. Check and install the update: Select General, then Update next to System update. If an update is available, follow the instructions to install it.
3. Restart the headset: Once the update is complete, the headset will restart automatically.

Tip: If no update indicator appears, select Check now to manually look for an update.

2. Enable automatic updates

You can set the headset to update automatically overnight.

1. Go to Settings: From the home screen, open Settings.
2. Enable automatic updates: Select General > Auto Update. Turn on Auto Update and set a preferred update time.
3. Requirement: The headset must be connected to a power source for auto-update to work.
