How to restart the Pico 4 Ultra Enterprise?

The Pico 4 Ultra Enterprise may require a restart if you experience performance issues, frozen images, or an unresponsive system. Here are the different methods to properly restart your headset.

1. Standard restart

If the headset is functioning normally and you simply want to restart it:

  1. Open the Quick Settings from the Control Center.
  2. Select Power > Restart.
  3. Wait for the headset to shut down and restart automatically.

2. Forced restart in case of a freeze

If the headset is unresponsive or the screen is frozen, a forced restart is necessary:

  1. Press and hold the power button for at least 10 seconds.
  2. The headset will shut down automatically.
  3. Release the button, then press it again to turn the headset back on.

This process forces the system to shut down and restart in case of malfunctions.

3. Restart via recovery mode

If the headset does not turn on properly after a forced restart:

  1. Turn off the headset by holding the power button.
  2. Press and hold the Power and Volume Down (-) buttons simultaneously until the headset restarts.
  3. When the PICO logo appears, release the buttons. An Android logo with a “No command” message should display.
  4. Press the Power and Volume Up (+) buttons simultaneously for 1 second, then release them. The Android Recovery menu should appear.
  5. Use the volume buttons to navigate and select “Reboot system now” with the power button.

This method is useful if the headset experiences persistent errors.

Restarting the Pico 4 Ultra Enterprise is a simple solution for resolving minor issues. For small glitches, a standard restart is sufficient, while a forced restart or recovery mode reboot is recommended for more complex problems.
