How do I enable and calibrate eye tracking on the Vive XR Elite?

The Vive XR Elite does not have built-in eye tracking. Therefore, it is not possible to enable or calibrate this feature directly on the headset in its standard configuration. Unlike some enterprise-focused models, the XR Elite does not offer eye tracking by default.

1. Lack of Native Eye Tracking

The headset does not offer an eye tracking function in its settings. No dedicated settings are available in the system, and no eye calibration procedure is offered during use. This means that applications cannot utilize eye tracking without additional hardware.

2. Use with compatible accessories

To access advanced tracking features, a dedicated accessory is required. The Vive Full Face Tracker adds certain tracking capabilities, particularly for facial tracking, but this depends on compatible applications and specific configurations. Without this accessory, eye tracking remains unavailable on the headset.

The Vive XR Elite does not offer native eye tracking, which prevents any activation or calibration directly from the headset. To take advantage of advanced tracking features, you must rely on compatible accessories and applications designed for these uses.
