How to sync my Vive account with Vive Focus Vision?

To fully enjoy HTC Vive services, it’s essential to sync your account with the headset. This gives you access to the VIVEPORT store, software updates, and online services.

1. Create or sign in to an HTC Vive account

During the initial setup of the headset, you will be prompted to sign in or create an HTC Vive account.

  • You can sign up using your email address, a Google account, or a Facebook account.
  • This account allows you to access HTC content and services.

2. Syncing with Vive Manager

Vive Manager is a mobile app designed to let users and businesses configure and manage their headset in one place.

Pairing the headset with Vive Manager ensures automatic synchronization with your HTC account.

Steps to pair Vive Manager with your headset:

  1. Activate pairing mode on the headset
    • On your Vive Focus Vision, go to Settings > Connectivity.
    • Select Pair next to Phone Pairing (Vive Manager).
    • A dialog box will display a device number, which will be used to identify your headset in the app.
  2. Pair via the Vive Manager app
    • Launch Vive Manager on your phone.
    • Tap the Devices tab.
    • Open the Devices dropdown menu and select Pair a new headset.
    • Select Vive Focus Vision and follow the setup steps.
  3. Access services linked to your account
    • The VIVEPORT store to download VR apps and games.
    • Cloud storage to save your settings and back up data.
    • Software updates to keep your headset up to date with the latest features and improvements.
