How to connect Vive Focus Vision to my Android device or PC?

The Vive Focus Vision can be connected to an Android smartphone or a PC to easily transfer files and display headset content on other devices.

1. Connecting to an Android device

Pairing the headset with an Android smartphone allows you to manage certain settings and access tracking and sharing features.

1. Download the app: Install VIVE Manager from the Google Play Store on your smartphone.
2. Power on the headset: Turn on the headset by holding down the power button. Make sure your smartphone and the headset are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
3. Pair with the app: Open VIVE Manager on your phone. Then follow the on-screen instructions to detect and pair the headset via Bluetooth. When a pairing request appears on the headset, confirm the connection.
4. Access management features: You can now manage some headset settings via VIVE Manager. View system info and notifications, and share the headset screen with your smartphone via screencast.

2. Connecting to a PC

Connecting the Vive Focus Vision to a PC allows you to transfer files, including screenshots and video recordings.

1. Physical connection:
   1. Connect the headset to your PC using a USB-C cable.
   2. Insert the cable into the USB port on the right side of the headset.
2. Select USB connection mode:
   1. Turn on the headset and accept the USB connection request that appears.
   2. Select the “File transfer” option to make headset files accessible on your PC.
3. Access headset files on PC:
   1. Open File Explorer on your PC.
   2. Click the headset name, then browse available folders: Captures (screenshots), Screenrecorder (recorded videos), Downloads (files sent from headset).
   3. Drag and drop needed files to a folder on your computer.
4. Safe disconnection:
   1. Once the transfer is complete, eject the headset from File Explorer.
   2. Unplug the USB-C cable to finalize the connection.
