Proper maintenance of the Meta Quest 3S extends its lifespan, preserves image quality, and ensures a clean and comfortable user experience. Regular cleaning of the headset, lenses, straps, and controllers is recommended, while avoiding risky actions.

1. Clean the lenses carefully

The lenses are sensitive to scratches and smudges:

1. Use a clean, dry microfiber cloth (like for eyeglasses).
2. Wipe gently in circular motions from center to edge.

Never use liquids (water, alcohol, glass cleaner), even slightly damp. Avoid touching lenses with your fingers to prevent grease or dust buildup.

2. Clean the facial interface

The foam or silicone interface (depending on the model) is in direct contact with your face:

1. Remove it gently if detachable.
2. Clean with a soft cloth lightly dampened with water or a non-alcoholic wipe.
