How to check the battery level of the Pico 4 Ultra Enterprise controllers?

To ensure an optimal experience with your Pico 4 Ultra Enterprise, it is essential to regularly monitor the battery level of your controllers. Here’s how to do it:

1. Checking the battery level on the controllers

  1. Access the Control Center: Turn on the Pico 4 Ultra Enterprise headset and put it on. Then, press the home button on one of the controllers to open the Control Center.
  2. View the battery levels: Upon opening the Control Center, you will see a screen displaying:
    • A battery bar for the headset
    • A battery bar for the left controller
    • A battery bar for the right controller

These battery indicators allow you to easily check the remaining battery level for each device.

2. Checking via the Pico Connect application

You can also use the Pico Connect application installed on a computer to quickly check the battery level of the controllers.

  1. Launch the Pico Connect application: Ensure that the headset is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the computer running the application.
  2. Open the “Devices” section: In the left menu, select Devices to see an overview of the headset and connected controllers.
  3. Check the battery levels: Each controller (left and right) will be displayed with a battery indicator bar and a percentage showing its battery level, as shown in the Pico Connect interface.

3. Replacing the controller batteries

If the battery level is low, it’s time to replace the controller batteries. Follow these steps:

  1. Prepare new batteries: The Pico 4 Ultra Enterprise controllers use AA batteries. Make sure you have new batteries available.
  2. Open the battery compartment: Flip the controller over to access the battery compartment. Slide the compartment cover to open it.
  3. Replace the batteries: Remove the used batteries, noting their orientation.
Insert the new batteries, following the + and – polarity indications.
  4. Close the compartment: Slide the compartment cover back into place until it clicks securely.

Tips to optimize battery life

  • Use high-quality batteries: Prefer alkaline batteries from recognized brands for better longevity.
  • Remove batteries if not in use for a long time: If you won’t be using the controllers for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent potential leaks.
  • Consider rechargeable batteries: For a more eco-friendly and cost-effective approach, use rechargeable AA batteries.

Regularly monitoring the battery level of your Pico 4 Ultra Enterprise controllers ensures an uninterrupted and immersive VR experience. By following these simple steps, you can easily check battery levels and replace them when needed.
