How do I record my screen with the Pico G3(+)?
Screen recording on the Pico G3 allows you to capture everything displayed in the headset on video, which is useful for presentations, tutorials, or VR session analysis.
1. Set up a shortcut via the settings
To take a video screenshot:
- Go to Settings > General.
- Select the Quick Capture tab.
- Set up a shortcut, for example: press the Home button on the controller twice quickly to trigger a video capture.
This allows you to easily capture images without going through the menu.
2. Taking a video capture
Option 1 – Using the controller
- Double-click the “O” button on your controller to start video recording.
- Repeat to stop recording.
Option 2 – Using the headsets buttons
- Double-click the “O” button on your headset to start video recording.
- Repeat to stop recording.
Option 3 – Using quick settings
- Open the Pico G3’s quick settings.
- Click on the Screen Recording option.
- You can then use the Home button on the controller to start recording. Repeat to stop recording.
3. Where to find the recording
Recorded videos are automatically stored in the Videos section of the Pico G3’s File Manager app.
You can transfer them to a computer via a USB-C cable.
The Pico G3 offers a native screen recording feature, accessible in just a few clicks via the quick settings, allowing you to capture immersive sessions with ease.
